Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook breakfast for up to 32 covers, ensuring consistency and quality
– Manage kitchen stock levels and place prepare orders as needed
– Ensure Health & Safety compliance in the kitchen, with all processes followed
– Train the front-of-house team on the breakfast dishes and their stories

Chauffeur – Aynsome Manor

Responsibilities:
– Drive guests to and from local restaurants in an evening shuttle service and attractions as required
– Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles
– Assist with guest transportation from train stations and airports as required
– Liaise with guests to coordinate pickup/drop-off schedules
– Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance guest experience

Ideal Candidate:
– Strong knowledge of the local area, including restaurants and tourist attractions
– Excellent communication and guest service skills
– A confident and safe driver, comfortable with van-sized vehicles
– Previous chauffeur experience preferred, but not essential
– Clean driving licence

Responsibilities:
– Serve a variety of beverages including wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails
– Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests

Ideal Candidate:
– Previous bartending experience, ideally in a 4-star establishment

SERVICE CHARGE- We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.

Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full-time employee.

Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our professional Food & Beverage Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has almost completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol.

About You

• Greet guests, take orders and serve food and drinks.
• Answer all queries about the menu including drinks and make suggestions.
• Take ownership of guest’s requirements and food allergies.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
• Set up the dining areas and process charges and payments.
• Effectively communicate with all colleagues and managers.
• Handle guest queries and complaints with a calm and mature approach.
• Dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
• Natural passion and flair for the industry and food
• Have the ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative when needed.
• Ambition to succeed at the highest levels.
• Willing to learn new things.

The Offer

• £11.10 per hour dependant on experience
• This role can be offered as a part time or a full-time permanent position – 24 – 40 hours per week worked over 3 or 5 days including evening shifts and weekends
• 8 hour shifts between 7am and 11pm
• An additional share of service charge and tips every 2 months
• 28-day holiday including bank holidays
